Setting The Table: Ceramics, Furniture, and Still Life Paintings

Main Street Arts, Clifton Springs NY, 2016

Main Street Arts invited pairs of ceramic artists and furniture makers to create a variety of collaborative works. The result was a carefully curated exhibition of ceramics and furniture with still life paintings, all by artists and makers in the Rochester and Finger Lakes areas. Pictured above is the result of the collaboration between Kelly Justice and furniture maker Jason Fierst (www.fierstdesign.com). To view images of the full exhibition, visit the Main Street Arts website at www.mainstreetartsgallery.com.

In addition, local TV station WXXI filmed a segment for Arts InFocus, a weekly program that champions arts and culture in the Rochester region and beyond, about the collaboration process between Jason and Kelly. Check out the episode below!
